Assignment Type: Hybrid (4 days per week onsite)
Contract Duration: 6-month contract (with high likelihood of extension)
Advantages
Modern Platform Engineering Scope: Architect self-service developer portals, automated pipelines, and Kubernetes orchestration platforms.
Full-Stack Observability Leadership: Deploy enterprise-grade logging, metrics collection, distributed tracing, and automated alerting frameworks.
Hybrid Cloud & Enterprise Network Exposure: Gain hands-on engineering experience spanning cloud environments, SD-WAN, datacenters, and enterprise network infrastructure.
High-Impact Collaborative Role: Lead design discussions, mentor junior engineers, and drive incident response and platform reliability across multi-site networks.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms, self-service APIs, templates, and portals that enable application teams to provision infrastructure safely and efficiently.
Architect and manage Kubernetes platforms, container orchestration engines, pod networking, and service mesh implementations.
Build and standardize enterprise CI/CD pipelines, build tools, release workflows, and engineering artifact management platforms.
Design, deploy, and support end-to-end observability platforms, including centralized logging systems, metrics collection pipelines, distributed tracing, and monitoring dashboards.
Support enterprise Network Operations environments across corporate offices, datacenters, retail locations, distribution facilities, and cloud networks.
Lead platform incident response, conducting root-cause analysis, executing troubleshooting runbooks, and implementing long-term preventive measures.
Execute infrastructure validation, disaster recovery simulations, and failover testing across distributed systems.
Collaborate with application engineering leads to evaluate architecture requirements, negotiate platform trade-offs, and establish infrastructure automation standards.
Mentor and coach junior platform engineers on modern DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering practices.
Author comprehensive technical runbooks, platform documentation, architectural designs, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
Core Technical & Platform Engineering Requirements
Professional Experience: 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience designing platform solutions, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and building scalable distributed systems.
