Responsibilities
Act as a Subject Matter Expert on all internal funding and post-funding processes across multiple Lines of Business
Communicate directly with lenders, brokers and clients on time-sensitive matters often under strict time constraints
Liaise with internal partners/departments (Sales, Processing, Funding) to remove obstacles remediate issues
Resolve funding or customer service issues while adhering to internal and risk management policies
Communicate path to resolution with clients, lenders, brokers and other stakeholders via multiple mediums with accuracy and professionalism (email/phone/chat/app)
Manage difficult conversations with external stakeholders seeking to obtain mutually satisfactory resolution
Identify and analyze trends and propose alternatives to business and operational opportunities
Exposure to reading, interpreting and analyzing payout statements across multiple financial institutions provided in differing formats
Request and review payout statements from other financial institutions calculating payout amount and per diem
Participate in the design, implementation and delivery of programs, processes and training.
Passion for customer service
Keep current on all Company wide and department policies, procedures and practices.
Qualifications
Experience as a Real Estate Funder, Funding Clerk or mortgage professional is required
Exposure to reading, interpreting and analyzing secured and unsecured payout statements across multiple financial institutions provided in differing formats
Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships
Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
Detail oriented and proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Team player who can work with minimal supervision
Willingness and ability to work overtime during peak periods
Ability to exercise sound independent judgment in a wide range of situations and exhibit creative thinking and problem solving
