Afternoon Shift Payrate: $24.60
Shift timing: 2:00pm- 10:00pm

Responsibilities
- Load powder and switch boxes/drums of powder material as required
- Perform deep clean out of the powder equipment for color changes, including powder booth, gun tips and venturis.
- Ensure daily startup checklists are completed and correct program jobs and recipes are selected.
- Review powder pumps’ inserts and gun tips for wear
- Perform routine inspections & preventive maintenance activities as outlined in the PM plan
- Troubleshoot powder coat process and equipment-related issues and implement corrective actions as required
- Performs all job functions in a safe, healthful, and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all health, safety
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Post secondary diploma or certificate in chemical or mechanical technology or related work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining automated powder coating equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electrostatic powder coating principles and application process
- Experience with GEMA (or equivalent) powder application systems, reciprocators, powder pumps, OptiCenter, Magic
Booths, and powder recovery systems preferred
- Ability to lift 20 – 40 lb powder boxes and move powder drums using pneumatically controlled lift equipment
- Excellent communication skills (English – Spoken and written)
