Responsibilities
Operate the press brake machine, specifically an Accupress, to manufacture and bend metal pieces
Read and accurately interpret technical blueprints to determine proper bending requirements.
Utilize precision measuring tools, including calipers and verniers, to verify that all manufactured pieces meet quality standards.
Focus on maintaining high product quality over quantity.
Ensure proper adherence to safety procedures while operating the machinery.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating a press brake machine is required (no specific certification needed).
Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers and verniers) for quality checks.
Highly self-motivated and comfortable operating the machine alone for the full shift.
Ability to work in a loud manufacturing site environment (mats for standing are provided).
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Must own and wear steel-toed boots (ear plugs will be provided on site).
