Advantages
Wage: $20-21/hr
Monday- Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with potential for overtime
Paid out weekly through randstad
Responsibilities
Execute Metal Fabrication: Bend, cut, roll, stamp, and punch metal components using various industrial presses to fabricate parts for finished products.
Calibrate & Maintain Machinery: Set up, adjust, and fine-tune presses and equipment; immediately escalate machinery malfunctions or repair needs to the Team Lead.
Manage Workflow & Orders: Prioritize job orders to hit production targets and accurately record job transactions directly on work orders.
Uphold Safety Standards: Enforce safety procedures, work instructions, and the active use and proper condition of all personal protective equipment (PPE) and machine guards.
Support Material & Team Logistics: Assist with moving heavy materials and parts across the floor, and mentor new or less-experienced operators through job-specific training.
Qualifications
Experienced Press Operator: Bring at least 2 years of experience in a production environment operating multiple press machines, with established technical press knowledge.
Mechanically & Mathematically Inclined: Possess strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills to take accurate measurements on the floor.
Physically Capable: Able to perform heavy lifting and move materials continuously throughout your shift.
Effective Communicator: Collaborate seamlessly and perform effectively within a team environment.
Educated & Trained: Hold a Grade 12 education or equivalent
Welding experience is an asset!
