Responsibilities
- Press Operations: Set up, load, monitor, and unload industrial compression presses according to routing sheets and daily quota targets.
- Quality Assurance: Execute ISO 9001 quality checks, precision weight audits, and first-piece inspections.
- Component Finishing: Utilize specialized hand tools (picks, utility blades, trim knives) to deflash and finish parts to customer specifications before labeling.
- Material Handling: Verify batch codes, weigh raw stock, and stage press lines prior to operation.
- Reporting & Compliance: Record scrap and production metrics, maintain clean work cells, and uphold plant safety policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Background operating machinery in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills, comfort with hand tools, and a knack for equipment troubleshooting.
- Physical Demands: Comfort working in high-temperature production environments and capability to perform routine heavy lifting.
- Schedule Readiness: Commitment to a 12-hour continental shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, alternating weekends).
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
