Responsibilities
The job duties for the Procurement Coordinator will include the following:
- Monitor the production schedule to create and manage daily inventory releases and purchase order int he ERP system for external warehouses (raw materials and dry goods).
- Analyze demand forecasts to create timely purchase orders, ensuring an uninterrupted product supply for plant needs.
- Run Material Resource Planning (MRP) reports within the ERP system to send purchase orders for packaging and ingredients.
- Additional duties may include assisting with broader procurement tasks, including material buying.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain environment is considered a strong asset.
- High level of accuracy when managing numbers, forecasts, and purchase orders.
- Previous experience and comfort working within an ERP system.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external warehouses.
