Responsibilities
• Support refinement of the future‑state vision for the procurement team, including guiding principles and design assumptions.
• Analyze procurement maturity assessment outputs and synthesize insights into core transformation themes, priorities, and implications.
• Translate future‑state principles into practical implications for structure, roles, processes decision‑rights, and ways of working.
• Develop and articulate a clear rationale for the proposed portfolio of procurement transformation initiatives, grounding recommendations in the current‑state assessment and future‑state vision.
• Develop a sequencing and phasing view that distinguishes near‑term (next two years) initiatives fromlonger‑term transformation elements.
• Define near‑term outcomes and longer‑term transformation intent, including how progress will be measured without overcommitting to detailed delivery plans.
Qualifications
• 5-7 years of experience in strategic consulting, enterprise or functional transformation, or complex organizational change initiatives (public sector preferred).
• Demonstrated experience translating assessments or diagnostics into future‑state visions, transformation narratives, and credible business cases.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in post‑reorganization or post‑consolidation environments with evolving roles and sensitivities.
• Strong facilitation skills with senior leaders and cross‑functional groups in ambiguous or sensitive contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to develop executive‑ready written and visual materials.
• Working knowledge of public‑sector procurement principles, including fairness, transparency, value for money, auditability, and accountability for public funds.
