Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional remote technical support to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to our products, guiding customers through solutions.
• Apply your expertise in small engine repair, construction equipment servicing, and other related mechanical fields to resolve complex problems.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new product releases and updates within the manufacturing & logistics industry.
• Document customer interactions and technical issues accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the internal team to escalate and resolve complex issues when necessary.
• Ensure a positive and professional customer experience with every interaction.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the support process by identifying recurring issues and suggesting solutions.
• Assist in creating and updating technical support documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Conduct remote diagnostics to pinpoint the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a repair technician, field technician, or similar role in the manufacturing & logistics, small engine repair, or construction equipment industry.
• A strong, verifiable background in hands-on repair and troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate or trade school education is a strong asset.
• Must be a resident of Mississauga or the surrounding area, with the ability to commute to the job location.
• A positive and professional demeanour with a strong customer-centric focus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test, if required.
• Experience working in a customer support capacity, whether in person or remotely.
