Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Packaging: Support the finishing line by bagging, counting, labeling, and palletizing products with high attention to detail.
Material Handling: Safely manage inventory flow by loading and unloading pallets and shipments.
Operational Readiness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. This includes assisting the sanitation team and performing critical cleanup tasks like shoveling grain spills.
Team Collaboration: Work closely under the direction of Supervisors and Main Operators to troubleshoot needs and keep the facility running smoothly.
Safety Leadership: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements to ensure a zero-injury environment.
Physical Requirements & Environment:
Strength: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
Stamina: This is a physically active role requiring movement throughout the shift.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a split environment—predominantly indoors (80–90%), with occasional outdoor tasks (10–20%) as required.
Production Support: Assist with the packaging of products by palletizing, bagging, counting, and labeling.
Material Handling: Safely load and unload pallets and products.
Site Cleanup: Shovel grain spills and provide assistance to the sanitation team as needed.
Team Support: Follow directions from supervisors and main operators. Provide general support to operators to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and involves a mix of indoor (80-90%) and outdoor (10-20%) work.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Previous experience in a general labor or warehouse setting.
Safety-conscious with knowledge of risks and Lockout procedures.
Comfortable using hand and power tools to complete daily tasks.
Fast-paced mindset: Capable of staying productive in high-energy environments.
