Responsibilities
Operating within the production line to efficiently handle and process materials.
Sorting various plastic totes and materials according to specific quality and inventory standards.
Accurately applying labels and documentation to finished or in-process plastic totes.
Performing manual wrapping of totes and finished products to ensure secure packaging for transport.
Maintaining a clean and organized work station to comply with all safety and quality regulations.
Regularly lifting and maneuvering materials weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
Inspecting materials and finished products for defects, immediately reporting any quality issues to the supervisor.
Assisting with general production and manufacturing tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility within the assembly line team.
Following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborating effectively with fellow Team Assemblers and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Participating in ongoing training to continuously improve assembly techniques and operational efficiency within Manufacturing & Logistics.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Production Line Worker, Team Assembler, or in a similar General Labour/Manufacturing role.
Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the Day Shift.
Ability to reliably commute to the job location in Aylmer, Ontario.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and safety in a manufacturing setting. • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Successful completion of a pre-employment screening process.
Flexibility to perform repetitive tasks, suchs as sorting, labelling, and wrapping, with consistent focus.
