Responsibilities
• Set up and use custom in-house hose kitting software to ensure measuring accuracy and consistency. • Inspect and clean hoses utilizing foam projectiles to maintain product integrity. • Adjust machine settings and operate automated hose saws, pneumatic cylinder pushers, and power crimpers. • Assemble industrial hoses per customer specifications, including capping, spiral wrapping, and installing nylon sleeves. • Monitor processing conditions and product quality, ensuring crimp fittings are fully inserted and meet diameter specs. • Perform visual and instrument-based inspections of finished products for defects and conformance. • Conduct pressure testing on hoses using a hydrostatic test bench. • Affix seals or tags to approved products and reroute any defective items for repair or recycling. • Accurately fill out product inspection reports and make minor adjustments or repairs as needed. • Assist in training new workers and perform other duties as assigned to support the team
Qualifications
• Solid mechanical aptitude with a methodic and detail-oriented work ethic. • Proficiency in using power tools, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other production equipment. • Strong organizational skills to plan workloads effectively in conjunction with management. • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for reporting and instruction. • Ability to multitask effectively within a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. • Strong inventory skills and familiarity with warehouse and production systems. • Dexterity and physical stamina required for repetitive assembly tasks
• Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or similar industrial environment. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and maintain physical stamina throughout the shift. • Flexibility to adjust plans according to customer requirements and quality initiatives. • Commitment to following all safety protocols and warehouse procedures. • Proven ability to work as a team player and assist in other departments when required. • Ability to maintain a clean, orderly, and inclusive warehouse environment.
