Responsibilities
• Assemble automotive components precisely using provided blueprints and templates.
• Use various hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and drills.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting and positioning parts weighing up to 50lbs.
• Monitor the assembly line for any quality issues or defective parts.
• Maintain a steady work pace to meet the daily production targets of the facility.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure an efficient production flow.
• Work collaboratively with other Production Associate team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous experience as a Production Associate or in assembly is an asset.
• Proven experience working with hand tools in a professional or hobby setting.
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site in Aylmer, Ontario.
• Ability to work the full duration of the Day Shift and occasional overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience in an industrial setting.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following all manufacturing protocols.
• Experience using manual hand tools and basic power tools.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and stand for long durations.
• Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle small mechanical parts.
• Basic understanding of assembly processes in a manufacturing & logistics setting.
• Reliable work ethic and a commitment to being on time for every shift.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English accurately.
• Good teamwork skills to contribute to a positive shop floor culture.
