Responsibilities
Perform post-harvest tasks including trimming, bucking, drying, and curing of cannabis plants in accordance with established procedures.
Accurately weigh, package, and label cannabis products for distribution, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Operate and maintain production equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Conduct regular quality control checks on products at various stages of production to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized work environment by following sanitation protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Assist with inventory management, including counting, recording, and organizing raw materials and finished goods.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Document production activities and data accurately in batch records and other required logs.
Qualifications
Must be at least 19 years of age or older as per provincial regulations.
Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or general labour role is a significant asset.
Experience in a regulated industry such as food production, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics is highly desirable.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
Comfortable working in an environment with the distinct smell of cannabis.
Must have reliable transportation to the facility in Brantford
