Responsibilities
- Unpacking materials, placing items on racks and properly identifying next steps required for the client order
- Preparing materials and tools to complete the client requirements
- Using a scanner to identify the step-by-step process to complete the product
- Operating tools, equipment and machinery required for the job
- Ensuring that the work area is clean and safe
- Moving and lifting of heavier materials – Objects and parts may have sharp edges.
- Packing the finish product and prepping for client pick up
- Closely collaborate with the other team members to ensure that all the client requests for the day has been closely accounted for
Qualifications
- Must have experience working in as a Production Associate (Machine shop experience is an asset)
- Has no issues with physical work – carrying heavy objects consistently, walking and standing for long periods
- Ability to read and carefully follow instructions
- Attention to detail and has very good focus
- Manual dexterity and very good hand-eye coordination
- Experience working alongside tools and equipment
- Comfortable working alongside chemicals and solutions
- Looking for an individual who values job stability , consistency of work, and thrives with routines
- Someone who takes the initiative to learn and truly values the importance of a team based environment
