Advantages
Hourly Wage: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
Shift Structure: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Coordination: Seamlessly align production, procurement, engineering, and shipping activities while dynamically assigning labor based on team priorities and capacity.
Workflow Optimization: Proactively monitor real-time production progress and resolve tracking bottlenecks or operational risks before they cause delays.
Pre-Production Readiness: Ensure all required raw materials, specialized tools, manufacturing fixtures, and equipment are fully prepared and staged before shop floor work begins.
Visual Management: Keep shop floor visual tracking systems accurate and meaningful at all times, maintaining production metrics, KPIs, and tracking whiteboards.
Daily Briefings: Lead daily production meetings to actively review workflow readiness, shop safety protocols, and shift performance metrics to keep schedules on track.
Continuous Improvement: Perform daily quality and safety checks, identifying proactive opportunities to optimize setup workflows and production efficiency.
Qualifications
Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent professional background.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience coordinating production schedules, manufacturing setups, materials, and labor logistics (equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience are welcomed).
Technical Assets: Prior hands-on experience navigating ERP/MRP systems and high comfort level managing performance dashboards, metrics, and visual tracking tools.
Core Competencies: A proactive mindset, exceptional multitasking capabilities, and prompt, clear written and verbal communication skills. Teamwork: Strong practical problem-solving capabilities with a natural ability to collaborate effectively across diverse internal manufacturing teams.
On-the-Floor Presence: Comfort standing and walking for extended periods on the manufacturing production floor.
Material Handling:
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Digital Proficiency: Comfortable utilizing computer screens, keyboards, and handheld tracking devices for data entry.
Auditory & Sensory: Ability to communicate, hear, and operate safely within a low-to-moderate volume shop environment
