Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all daily production operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound work environment.
- Oversee a large team of approximately 40-50 personnel, including multiple supervisors, to maintain high service levels and productivity.
- Coordinate and monitor production schedules to ensure the timely availability of high-quality products.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators to recognize trends, identify improvement opportunities, and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and purchasing, to enhance cost-effective production processes.
- Ensure all finished products adhere to stringent quality standards, such as ISO/QS.
Qualifications
- You possess a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering or a related field.
- You have a minimum of 5-7 years of manufacturing management experience within a chemical or plastics environment.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with strong management skills and a results-driven mindset.
- You have a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- You are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with extrusion processes is considered a significant asset.
