Responsibilities
- Lead and develop your team, embedding continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
- Champion operational efficiency by reducing waste and optimizing processes through structured problem-solving
- Ensure rigorous compliance with all food safety standards, including GMP and HACCP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement projects that improve consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and training tools to ensure consistent performance.
- Optimize labour resources and manage work schedules to meet production targets while supporting improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Production Manager within the food or a related manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to implement and lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, BRC).
- Experience in a leadership role, with a strong focus on coaching and team development.
- Capability to effectively utilize data and metrics (KPIs, dashboards) to drive performance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to manage complex production challenges.
