Responsibilities
• This position is responsible for the efficient operation of designated production equipment
as assigned.
• Removing bottles from racks and putting them on the conveyor to meet production and
quality objectives.
• Visually inspecting and removing foreign objects from bottles. Performing odor tests and
discarding contaminated bottles.
• Relabel and tag bottles with handle tags.
• Sort and lift empty and full bottles from delivery trucks.
• Responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance
of assigned production equipment. Equipment may include production line equipment,
forklifts or other power equipment.
• Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently following the Company Safety Policy,
including the lock out/tag out process.
• Provide general plant, production line and facility clean up (5S).
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Production experience, preferably in a food and beverage environment.
• Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of
urgency.
• Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment.
• Physically able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends (depending on location).
• Ability to inspect materials visually and by sense of smell.
• PPE Required (safety shoes, hair nets, goggles, ear plugs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions (depending on
location) that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. The noise level may be loud at
times.
