We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer of baked goods—specializing in pita and Lavash products—to find an experienced Production Supervisor ready to take ownership of shift operations, elevate team performance, and uphold gold-standard food safety and quality practices.

Responsibilities
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Line: Supervise the production floor—line operators, mixers, and team leads—ensuring schedules align with daily shipping targets (Montreal, Ottawa, etc.).
Champion Food Safety & Quality: Oversee HACCP, CCP checks, allergen management, and product recalls. Complete daily pre-ops and sanitation verifications.
Drive Operational Efficiency: Develop shift schedules, monitor OEE, reduce waste, and implement continuous improvement tools like PDCA and 5 Whys.
Hands-on Leadership: Conduct spot checks, resolve conflicts, oversee training, and complete performance evaluations and attendance/event records.
Be the Backbone: Step into other supervisor roles when needed and remain available (on-call) to support 24/7 operations as part of the leadership team.
Stay Safe & Compliant: Maintain and enforce all PPE, GMP, visitor SOPs, and health/safety standards.
Qualifications
👥 What You Bring:
3+ years experience in food manufacturing or processing (bakery experience is a big plus!)
Leadership experience managing 60–80 team members per shift.
HACCP and First Aid certified.
Comfortable with shift rotation (days, evenings, nights, weekends).
Strong computer and communication skills; working knowledge of Navision is an asset.
Familiarity with LEAN principles and continuous improvement strategies.
🕒 Schedule:
8-hour rotating shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights)
Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)
