Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a group of 30 to 40 production staff and team leads, focusing on coaching, training, and performance management.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the daily production schedule for the stamping department to ensure all manufacturing targets and delivery deadlines are met.
- Strategic Planning: Evaluate and adjust manufacturing sequences and priorities to resolve maintenance or operational issues and minimize production delays.
- Continuous Improvement: Spearhead cost-reduction initiatives and monitor key performance indicators related to 5S, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Rotation Schedule: Successfully navigate a three-shift rotation (Days 7-3, Afternoons 3-11, and Midnights 11-7) to support the automotive industry's demands.
Qualifications
- Industry Experience: You must possess a minimum of three years of experience within the automotive industry, specifically in a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership Background: Proven experience in a supervisory role is required, with a strong ability to manage disciplinary processes and employee development.
- Technical Proficiency: You have a solid understanding of stamping processes and are comfortable using computer software and mathematical applications.
