Responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Assistant Manager, the Production Supervisor will be instrumental in ensuring product quality, meeting production targets, and overseeing daily operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising daily production staff activities, spending approximately 90% of time directly on the production floor.
- Providing hands-on assistance on the production line when necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with production schedules and managing all production processes.
- Analyzing staffing requirements, assisting in hiring, onboarding, and evaluating production employees.
- Upholding regulatory and employment standards, with a strong focus on workforce safety.
- Taking ownership of customer issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with other departments to maintain ISO quality systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment, ideally in highly automated, high-speed stamping operations.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Understanding and experience with ISO-based quality systems.
- Strong skills in training and mentorship.
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities, capable of managing stress and meeting tight deadlines.
- Exceptional team-building and leadership skills, with prior supervisory experience.
- Forklift operation and overhead crane licenses are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
