Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor hourly team members while managing line efficiencies and meeting key performance indicators.
- Oversee seamless equipment change overs and verify that production lines are fully prepared at the start of every shift.
- Uphold rigorous "Quality Assurance" standards to ensure every item meets the specific requirements of the consumer.
- Enforce all safety policies and "Health and Safety" protocols to maintain a secure and productive workspace for everyone.
- Act as a flexible floater supervisor, providing leadership across day, afternoon, or night shifts as required by the manufacturing industry.
- Coordinate closely with maintenance and operations to minimize downtime and optimize the overall yield of the facility.
Qualifications
- You bring at least 4 years of leadership experience with preference to food and pharma industry experience
- Nice to have a background in "Six Sigma" or "Continuous Improvement" methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- You demonstrate the flexibility to work at both our Oakville and Burlington locations as needed on various shifts
- You are proficient in using "Microsoft Office" tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, for reporting and communication.
- Possession of a current Forklift Certification is considered a valuable asset for this role.
