Responsibilities
This is a hands on position where you will be on the production floor assisting where needing, continuous improvement and identifying bottlenecks
Direct and coordinate daily operations across the production floor (fabrication, sheet metal, shear/brake operations, spot welding, and packaging).
Foster a positive workplace culture, drive high energy, and manage crew communications effectively within a unionized environment.
Assist in scaling operations for the new facility, including identifying training needs and potentially coordinating structured training exchanges.
Oversee flow scheduling, track KPIs, manage shipping/receiving, and coordinate parts ordering under the guidance of the Plant Manager.
Maintain a hands-on presence on the floor, assisting with basic equipment troubleshooting and ensuring standard production practices are met.
Drive a proactive safety culture, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and company regulations.
Qualifications
3-5 years of management experience
Experience in managing production floors and hands on with systems
Comfortable working in a unionized environment
High initiative, drive, and a desire to learn and grow (ideal for a junior-to-mid level professional looking to scale their career).
Strong mechanical inclination, excellent conflict mitigation abilities, and solid organizational/logistical skills.
