Responsibilities
*You will coordinate daily manpower and resource allocation to ensure all assembly targets are met efficiently.
*As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for mentoring staff and facilitating shift meetings to ensure seamless communication.
*You will monitor equipment performance and production schedules to resolve any bottlenecks in the Mississauga facility.
*Maintain rigorous safety and quality standards by educating employees on plant protocols and conducting regular audits.
*You will manage administrative duties, including accurate time-tracking, attendance reporting, and the documentation of quality metrics.
Qualifications
*You possess a minimum of four years of leadership experience as a Production Supervisor or in a comparable management capacity.
*At least four years of specialized experience within the automotive/aerospace industry, specifically operating in a JIT environment.
*You hold an Associate Degree in Business Administration, Applied Science, Operations, or a related field of study.
*Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing for procedure manuals and the application of foundational mathematics.
*Possession of a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is considered a significant asset for this Production Supervisor position.
*You must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds within a loud industrial setting.
