Responsibilities
• Provide strong leadership to ensure the team is aligned with short-term goals and meets all daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Ensure all health and safety policies and regulations are followed, and support related activities like investigations and audits.
• Ensure employees are compliant with all applicable regulations and have the necessary training.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and transparent work environment.
• Develop and oversee actionable plans for daily and weekly tasks, monitoring for risks and delays.
• Ensure the team has the appropriate resources to execute work plans effectively.
• Provide regular updates on progress and mitigation plans to management.
• Offer recommendations to improve processes and overall performance.
Qualifications
• A Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Aviation/Aerospace or a similar field is considered an asset.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a progressively responsible leadership role within the aviation or aerospace industry is an asset.
• Prior experience coaching and supervising front-line employees is a significant asset.
• Strong planning and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement programs and initiatives.
• Experience facilitating meetings and training sessions is an asset.
