Your Role:
As a Production Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of 10 to 15 hourly employees on the night shift, ensuring safe operations, achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and developing employees.
Your scope includes:
- Lead, coach, and support a team while fostering accountability, engagement, and employee development
- Promote and champion a strong safety culture through active participation, coaching, and compliance with health and safety standards
- Oversee production activities across two production lines to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Monitor production performance, quality, productivity, and efficiency while implementing corrective actions when needed
- Support employee training, performance management, attendance management, and ongoing development initiatives
- Collaborate with production, shipping, maintenance, and leadership teams to ensure seamless communication and operations across shifts
- Complete production reporting and administrative activities while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and plant objectives
What you bring
You're a natural fit for Production Supervisor if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or people leadership experience
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety and the ability to promote a safety-first culture
- Strong coaching, communication, conflict management, decision-making, and accountability skills
- The ability to develop, support, and motivate employees while driving operational results
- Experience managing production targets, operational priorities, and day-to-day manufacturing activities
- Packaging, paper, or corrugated manufacturing experience is considered an asset
- Experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, JHSC participation, SAP, or AMTECH are considered an asset
