Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Monitoring systems and file deliveries using tools like Control-M, ensuring timely resolution of alerts
Owning the incident management lifecycle: categorizing, investigating, resolving, and communicating with key business users
Troubleshooting issues related to large datasets, batch jobs, and financial reporting applications
Collaborating across global teams to support shared applications and improve system performance
Performing root cause analysis, coordinating DR testing, and driving service improvement initiatives
Maintaining clear documentation, tracking service metrics, and updating knowledge bases
Partnering with stakeholders to ensure minimal business disruption during service issues
Participating in UAT testing, release planning, and supporting production deployments
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server and Oracle
Solid background in PL/SQL development, preferably within financial environments
Familiarity with UNIX, scripting, and batch processing tools (e.g., Control-M)
Previous experience supporting banking/reporting systems and handling large datasets
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting directly with business teams
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and version control tools
On-call/rotational shift experience, with ability to manage flexible hours
Nice-to-Haves:
Shell scripting experience
Familiarity with Connect:Direct for file transfers
Basic understanding of DevOps, microservices, and product control
Experience with .NET and Angular is a plus
