Responsibilities
• Execute high-quality welds on metal racks using MIG welding processes within a high-volume manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Read and interpret basic welding blueprints and technical specifications to ensure structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold the highest safety standards in the manufacturing & logistics facility.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and quality benchmarks.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance on welding machinery.
• Inspect finished products for defects or misalignments to ensure customer satisfaction in the manufacturing & logistics chain.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline manufacturing & logistics workflows.
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing & logistics environment is preferred.
• Graduates from recognized welding programs or trade schools are highly encouraged to apply.
• Successful completion of an on-site weld test is mandatory.
• Reliable transportation to the Brantford, Ontario location.
• Flexibility to work straight day or afternoon shifts as required by the manufacturing & logistics schedule.
• Commitment to workplace safety and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
