Job Opportunity: Production Operator
Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay: $18/hr

Responsibilities
Accurately receive, sort, and match lenses and frames to the appropriate work orders and trays.
Sort incoming trays based on courier pickup schedules to ensure timely dispatch.
Review, edit, and print invoices using internal systems.
Match invoices to trays, and then accurately scale, wrap, label, and package products for shipping.
Include promotional materials in packages when applicable.
Prepare and complete waybills for all outgoing courier shipments.
Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming mail and courier deliveries.
Trace and resolve missing shipments with couriers to maintain a smooth supply chain.
Use internal systems to track and monitor the location of trays within the lab.
Receive and assign customer tint samples to the correct trays.
Provide assistance to the Frame Management Team with daily tasks as needed.
Follow all TAF requests and adhere to established manufacturing processes and procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar production operator or production technician role.
Experience in the optical industry or familiarity with cosmetic standards is a significant asset.
Knowledge of various lens types, materials, and optical products is considered a plus.
Ability to perform mounting, blocking, and edging tasks is an asset.
Strong manual dexterity and observational skills.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
