Position: Production Worker
Location: Peterborough, ON
Pay: $19.50/hr - $24.50/hr
Shift: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
• Execute daily manufacturing tasks, warehouse work, and assembly operations in alignment with standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate closely with a designated partner in teams of two to safely handle, move, and align heavy components.
• Use various hand tools, power tools, and industrial saws to modify, cut, and prepare materials for production.
• Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and positioning items weighing 50 lbs (with person-assist methods available when required).
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing delivery trucks efficiently using a forklift when certified and required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation within a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment such as safety vests, gloves, and hard hats.
• Identify and report any machinery malfunctions or material defects to the shift supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience in a production, manufacturing, or heavy labor environment.
• Ability to consistently lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ownership of CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear (shoes or boots) prior to starting your first shift.
• Absolute comfort working in a fast-paced industrial environment characterized by high noise levels, heat, and dust.
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training to master proprietary tools, manufacturing processes, and safety protocols.
• Immediate availability to start a full-time, long-term opportunity in the Peterborough region.
