As a vital member of the team, the General Labourer supports the Plant Supervisor, machine operators, and loaders, focusing on meeting high demands for production and shipping. This involves a variety of hands-on tasks, including working with hand tools in the woodshop environment for building crates and handling finished products. Your flexibility and willingness to contribute across multiple departments will be key to your success as a Manufacturing Associate in this dynamic setting.
Location: Exeter, Ontario (London candidates with reliable transportation are welcome to apply)
Dayshift : Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
Pay: $22.72/hr

Responsibilities
The production worker will do:
- Assist machine operators and senior staff with daily tasks like production and crating.
- Packaging and Shipping: Help load trucks by securing skids with wood blocks, and pack small parts and trim for shipments.
- Use a nail gun to close product crates.
- Operating Machinery: Operate cardboard wrapping machines and other tools.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and report any issues to a supervisor.
- Maintaining Safety: Follow all safety procedures and keep your workspace clean and organized.
Qualifications
The production worker need to:
- Experience as a General Labourer or in a related manufacturing role is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
