As a Programmer-Analyst, you will serve as a technical architect and key driver in a major digital transformation initiative for a leading National Defence organization. Responsibilities
- Design and deploy optimized SharePoint Online pages and custom Power Apps to automate complex workflows.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights by delivering interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Connect Power Apps with SharePoint, Dataverse, and Microsoft Fabric to enable secure, real-time data exchange.
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions to create user stories, business cases, and technical feasibility assessments.
- Establish standardized configuration protocols, version control (Azure DevOps), and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Provide high-tier support, triaging and resolving technical issues to ensure application reliability.
- Develop integration architecture diagrams and maintain security compliance documentation for all system connections.
- Managing and configuring Azure DevOps for consistent application delivery.
- Create intuitive forms, user manuals, and procedural guides to promote consistency.
- Deliver at least one dedicated training session for every solution deployment.
- Establish deployment workflows and version control systems specifically designed to reduce technical debt.
Qualifications
- Valid Secret-level Security Clearance
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- 8+ years experience as a Programmer-Analyst.
- Strong background in C# / .NET, Python, JavaScript, and SQL/T-SQL.
- Certifications to actively hold:
Power BI: PL-300 (or DA-100), Power Platform: PL-400 (or MB-400).
Functional Consultant: PL-200 (or MB-200).
- Additional Certifications: CISSP, PMP, Azure Security Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect (recently obtained will only be considered).
- Experience working on digital transformation projects involving several thousand end-users.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Power Fx/DAX.
- Knowledge of Visual Basic and Power Builder.
- Capability to work in a secure zone using only provided standard workstations (no external assistive IT equipment permitted).
- Experience as a Project Lead overseeing technical delivery and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or RBAC security policies.
