Join a critical initiative to support a specialized command headquarters within the Government of Canada, focusing on essential data remediation and equipment management for unique, serially-managed assets. This is a high-impact, one-year contract where your administrative and project coordination expertise will directly contribute to operational readiness.
This role requires a dedicated and highly organized professional to work five days a week, primarily during core business hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday on-site in Ottawa East. The Senior Project Administrator will provide essential support to project leaders and the headquarters team. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Project Documentation & Maintenance
- Planning & Monitoring
- System Setup
- Data Management
- Communication
- Issue Resolution
- Team Support

Responsibilities
- Documentation and Distribution: Maintaining and distributing project details (e.g., contact details, organization charts, and specification sheets).
- Planning and Development: Assisting in the development of plans and projects.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring the progress of plans and projects.
- Tool Management: Setting up and maintaining project management tools.
- Data Administration: Performing data entry and analysis.
- Communication Drafting: Drafting briefing notes, reports, and presentations.
- Issue Support: Assisting the project leader in finding solutions to critical issues.
- Onboarding: Preparing project orientation information.
- Coordination: Coordinating training activities for the project team.
Qualifications
Valid Secret-level security clearance.
Post-Secondary education is preferred.
Recent Project Administrator experience within a Federal Government department.
Expertise in project management including strategic planning and analysis.
Experience performing project evaluations and budget analysis.
