Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator for a 7 month contract in Toronto.
This is an onsite role.

Responsibilities
• Support the cyber security team in the coordination and implementation of various cyber security initiatives.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, capturing meeting minutes, and following up on action items.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, such as status reports, project plans, risk logs, and communications.

Qualifications
Must Haves:

• Demonstrated experience in assisting with IT and security-related initiatives through tasks such as tracking deliverables, preparing reports, coordinating schedules, and maintaining documentation.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
Experience required:
3–5+ years of experience in project coordination or project support roles, ideally within the IT, or security-related environments.
Demonstrated experience in assisting with IT and security-related initiatives through tasks such as tracking deliverables, preparing reports, coordinating schedules, and maintaining documentation.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as threats, vulnerabilities, risk management, encryption, and incident response is considered an asset.
Exposure to security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS) is a plus.
Experience supporting procurement or supply chain projects is desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work across teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and dashboards.
Capable of supporting vendor coordination and assisting in the monitoring of service delivery and performance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and consistency.
Desirable Qualifications:
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
Relevant professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments), or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management).
