operations, and regulatory compliance. This role is essential for planning and implementing strategic projects that will drive profitable growth. The Projects Director will manage a portfolio of projects related to land development and decentralized servicing, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards for clients. This role is responsible for creating and implementing processes to ensure the successful completion of projects and the accuracy of engineering designs, budgets, and contractual deliverables. You will also be tasked with monitoring project progress and reporting on the portfolio's status.

Responsibilities
Department Leadership: You will manage all personnel and physical resources within the department, providing leadership and guidance to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. This includes leading recruitment efforts, coaching, training, and mentoring team members.
Project Management: You will implement systems for managing all projects and project teams, including methods for accurate project costing and a consistent approach to risk management. You'll also track project performance, create detailed action plans, and conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned.
Financial Oversight: You will manage and monitor the financial performance of projects to ensure they meet or exceed profit targets.
Account Management: You will oversee and guide the Accounts Managers, helping them improve revenues, identify upselling opportunities, and effectively manage client relationships. This includes developing training programs focused on financial management and sales techniques.
Engineering Leadership: You will ensure a high level of service and support for internal and external clients. You'll manage and evaluate the performance of engineering resources, set objectives, and make sure quality standards and safety procedures are met.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in sanitary servicing designs and/or land development and planning, progressive project coordination and/or management experience
• Experience in the water/wastewater industry
• Able to proactively identify potential risks and implement prompt, effective measure to mitigate them
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans, as well as operations and maintenance manuals
• Experienced in developing clear, consistent, and comprehensive project documentation and plans
• Strong project or program management capabilities
• Consistently upholds high ethical standards, demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all actions and decisions.
