Responsibilities
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and close-out.
• Develop comprehensive project charters, proposals, and other key planning artifacts.
• Manage and control project scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Identify and proactively manage project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Regularly monitor, document, and report on project progress to all stakeholders.
• Plan, lead, and facilitate project team and steering committee meetings.
• Contribute directly to project deliverables, including research and report writing, as needed.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor's Degree combined with a Project Management Designation (e.g., PMP).
• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience focused on non-IT, strategic business initiatives.
• At least 3 years of experience developing project charters, defining scope, and managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Edmonton three days per week and lead frequent face-to-face meetings.
