Your duties will encompass the full project lifecycle, with a heavy emphasis on Release Management and Stakeholder Engagement.
Project Governance: Develop and maintain comprehensive Project Management Plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and integrated project schedules using MS Project and Azure DevOps.
Release Management: Direct activities to build and maintain software releases for production, including the establishment of release strategies and negotiation of release content with stakeholders.
Agile Leadership: Lead and upskill project teams using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches, providing hands-on guidance to foster project maturity.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues using standardized reporting tools and dashboards.
Strategic Collaboration: Facilitate at least two weekly meetings with stakeholders and product owners to ensure alignment and solve organizational or technical problems.
Knowledge Transfer: Ensure the continuous transfer of functional and technical knowledge to departmental teams through training and documentation.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in an IM/IT environment within the last 15 years.
Project Scale: Demonstrated experience leading at least one IM/IT project valued at over $5 Million (CAD) and one business transformation project valued at over $10 Million (CAD).
Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with SharePoint, MS Suite, and Azure DevOps.
Education: Successful completion of a post-secondary program in Information Technology (minimum 12-month duration).
Certification: Valid professional certification from a recognized institute (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or MSP).
Security: Must hold a valid Reliability level security clearance.
Environment: Experience managing projects in an Enterprise-class environment serving 2,000+ users.
