Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategy, Planning & Execution
Be a strong partner within a program to develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and program-level roadmaps.
Collaborate with Technology, Business, and 3rd party stakeholders to define problem statements, expected outcomes, and deliverables.
Manage all phases of project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and solution delivery standards.
Anticipate and manage resource requirements to ensure project momentum.
Collaborate with business to lead organizational change management.
2. Governance, Risk & Financial Management
Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Manage project budgets, providing regular reporting on financial status and cost health.
Ensure all deliverables meet organizational quality and compliance standards.
3. Leadership, Facilitation & Stakeholder Excellence
Provide motivated leadership to cross-functional teams, acting as a facilitator to bridge gaps between technical security requirements and business operational needs.
Lead complex workshops and discovery sessions to define data protection requirements, ensuring all voices are heard and documented.
Navigate complex organizational dynamics and negotiate solutions when security policies conflict with business workflows.
Facilitate effective communication flow and consensus building across teams to ensure total alignment on project status and cultural change objectives.
Comfortable interacting and reporting to senior leadership
Qualifications
Relevant Experience
Project Leadership: 8+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 5 years leading large-scale initiatives and cross-functional teams in an agile-friendly environment.
Domain Expertise: Proven experience delivering projects in Data classification and Information protection in a highly regulated environment is required.
Domain Expertise: Collaborate with business to lead the iterative process of operationalization: policy tuning and alert remediation to ensure balanced security controls
Technical Specialization: Previous experience leading DLP, Data Quality, Process Re-engineering, or Remediation projects is considered a strong differentiator.
Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Tools: Extensive experience with Atlassian suite of tools, including Confluence and JIRA in particular
