Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and closing of IT projects, ensuring adherence to project management best practices.
Proactively manage project scope, budget, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
Establish and maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders and project teams.
Ensure rigorous compliance with government regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversight of prescribed Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process methods, thus leading in providing operational support and user management, and provides support defined by all lower level Tier positions
Solution technical and non-technical problems, and resolve in a timely manner
Qualifications
8+ years of progressive experience managing IT projects specifically within the government sector.
Demonstrated mastery of project management methodologies.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
In-depth knowledge and practical application of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process methods.
Completion of a recognized degree or diploma in an IT-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
PMP/CAPM certification is an asset
