Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate working group meetings, maintain progress reporting, and track action items and risk management updates.
- Develop and implement engagement plans, identify priority stakeholders, and lead consultations to gather and document business, clinical, and technical requirements.
- Create high-quality project artifacts, including presentations, briefing notes, dashboards, and senior management reports.
- Assist project and program managers in highly complex environments, providing regular updates and escalating risks or issues as required.
- Develop and implement change management strategies and associated communications to support the rollout of new standards and frameworks.
- Provide subject matter expertise on program standards activation and support, acting as a champion for interoperability across multiple platforms.
- Update and maintain project sites and repositories to ensure team-wide access to current documentation and status logs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically handling goals, risk, scope, and quality management for enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Proven experience in the Canadian healthcare sector (acute, primary, or community care settings) and a strong understanding of interoperability standards.
- Working knowledge of personal health information privacy legislation and regulations (e.g., PHIPA).
- Significant experience working within public sector organizations, managing high-profile and high-risk initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex presentations to diverse audiences, including clinical, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
- Knowledge of healthcare information systems and structured clinical documents is highly desired.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting deadlines in a professional environment.
