Responsibilities
- Lead working group meetings, coordinate various project interest holders, and maintain comprehensive progress reporting, action items, and risk logs.
- Act as a key liaison between senior leadership in government agencies, regional colleagues, and primary care clinicians to ensure project alignment.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of project document deliverables, status reports, and monitoring logs.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate implementation and adoption issues; escalate critical risks to project and program managers as required.
- Navigate complex, confidential situations with changing parameters while maintaining a strategic vision for project goals.
- Identify and address conflicts between project tasks and functional areas to ensure smooth operational delivery.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience coordinating working groups, maintaining progress reports, and managing action items.
- Proven experience working within the Ontario public sector, with a deep understanding of government agency dynamics.
- 5+ years of experience working alongside project managers in environments involving internal/external partners and senior leadership.
- Working knowledge of Ontario’s health-related legislation, including PHIPA (2004), the Connecting Care Act (2019), and the Primary Care Act (2025).
- Ability to handle confidential situations and adapt to shifting project parameters effectively.
- Specific experience within the Ontario primary care sector.
- Familiarity with Information Management principles and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
- Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and resolve functional area conflicts.
