Responsibilities
Scope of Work
The scheduler will be responsible for the following tasks:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS project.
Allocate resources effectively to ensure project goals are met.
Track the progress and adjust and update the schedule based on actual resources.
Reach out to subtrades to adjust the schedule as needed.
Set the schedule baseline and cost baseline.
Monitor the schedule and budget for any slippage and develop a recovery plan if necessary.
Extract progress reports and obtain Earned Value (EV), Cost Variance (CV), and Schedule Variance (SV) metrics.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including the GC, subtrades and
Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met, with a focus on client necessary delivery dates.
Prepare and present schedule reports to the project team and stakeholders, with a focus on critical activities, resources histogram, and earned value.
Identify potential schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with other project team members, including project supervisor and client’s vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
Track the key procurements to make its delivery on the planned dates.
