They are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-driven Proposal & Marketing Specialist to drive their business development efforts, own the RFP/RFI proposal process, maintain industry pre-qualifications, and showcase the company's expanding project portfolio.

Responsibilities
RFP, RFQ & Pre-Qualification Ownership:
● Coordinate, write, assemble, and submit comprehensive Request for Qualifications (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP), and pre-qualification packages for public and private sector tenders.
● Review tender requirements and specifications, creating compliance matrices, response timelines, and custom proposal layouts.
● Manage annual and project-specific pre-qualification renewals with key public procurement bodies, municipalities, school boards, and private client groups.
Content Development & Technical Writing:
● Draft compelling, tailored technical responses highlighting company safety records, project methodology, engineering capabilities, and past project performance.
● Interview internal Project Managers and Superintendents to gather up-to-date project metrics, site progress photos, and team resumes for inclusion in proposals.
● Develop and maintain a standardized content repository of project profiles, case studies, safety statistics, corporate qualifications, and team bios.
Brand & Marketing Collateral Management:
● Design and update professional marketing materials, bid presentations, capability statements, and corporate pitch decks aligned with company brand standards.
● Oversee corporate digital channels, managing updates to the company website, project portfolio showcases, and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
● Coordinate professional project photography and site video coverage at major construction milestones.
Market Research & Lead Tracking:
● Monitor public procurement portals (Biddingo, MERX, ConstructConnect, local municipal purchasing boards) to track upcoming ICI project opportunities.
● Maintain an accurate pipeline database of active proposals, hit rates, shortlist notifications, and client feedback.
Qualifications
● 3+ years of experience in marketing, proposal writing, or tender coordination specifically within the Canadian Construction, Architecture, or Engineering (AEC) industry.
● Deep familiarity with municipal, provincial, and public-sector procurement processes in Ontario (e.g., school boards, municipalities, healthcare facilities).
● Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
● Exceptional graphic design and document layout skills using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
● Strong technical writing skills with an ability to translate complex construction methodologies and engineering specs into persuasive, well-structured proposal responses.
● Outstanding project management and multi-tasking skills, with a proven ability to meet rigid, deadline-driven tender schedules.
