Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
As a key member of the engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and stability of cutting-edge financial technology products. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading Testing Efforts: Collaborate closely with product teams, taking ownership of testing from concept to deployment for new and existing features.
Building Robust Frameworks: Design and implement advanced automated testing frameworks using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress, focusing on performance and reliability.
Comprehensive Test Coverage: Create and execute detailed test plans for modern frontend applications (React, Svelte) and ensure extensive automated coverage across all features.
Proactive Issue Resolution: Monitor and maintain delivered features, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and leading incident investigations.
Driving Innovation: Propose and implement innovative testing solutions to enhance platform stability and scalability.
Collaborative Development: Participate in code and design reviews, providing critical feedback on testability.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Experience: 4–5 years of dedicated QA engineering experience with a strong emphasis on automation.
Frontend Testing Expertise: Proficiency in testing frontend technologies, particularly JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Cucumber and Playwright-based testing systems.
BDD Frameworks: Strong experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks for writing and managing test cases.
Automation Design: Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automation test suites for functional and regression testing.
API Testing: Familiarity with testing APIs and integrating external systems into testing frameworks.
Modern Methodologies: A solid understanding of modern testing methodologies and tools, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
Bonus Points for:
Experience in accounting software or banking applications.
Familiarity with frontend or full-stack development.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling for E2E tests.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
Experience with ERPs (e.g., Netsuite, Quickbooks Online).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
