In this role, you will lead the development and execution of enterprise testing strategies across parallel projects in a fast-paced environment. Operating within both Agile and Waterfall frameworks, you will design, build, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and complex backend data workflows. You will partner closely with software development teams, business architects, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, ensure comprehensive test coverage, manage sensitive test data, and uphold high standards of quality assurance.

Responsibilities
Automation Framework Design: Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for both Web platforms and API interfaces using Selenium and modern framework architectures.
ETL & Database Testing: Perform comprehensive backend data validation, source-to-target reconciliation, and ETL testing across enterprise databases.
Test Strategy & Planning: Define and implement end-to-end testing strategies, automation test plans, effort estimations, and execution dashboards for complex functional and non-functional requirements.
Test Case Development & Traceability: Author structured, highly detailed test cases from functional specifications and user stories; trace test coverage forward/backward across the entire software development lifecycle.
BDD Implementation: Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to refine user stories, define clear acceptance criteria, and create BDD feature files using Cucumber.
Test Data Management: Expertly manage, condition, and mask sensitive test data, ensuring compliance and security across all test environments.
Defect Management & Management Reporting: Execute automated/manual regression test suites, report and track software defects in Jira/ALM, and track quality metrics using Micro Focus ALM Octane.
Cross-Functional Support: Work alongside engineering teams to troubleshoot complex defects, assess release risks, and ensure seamless deployment promotions through test environments.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
- 8+ Years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience focused on Test Automation development and ETL/Database testing within complex enterprise ecosystems.
- Core Automation Skills: Advanced proficiency in Selenium (Web and API Testing) and BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
- ETL & Data Testing: Proven hands-on experience in ETL/Database testing, performing complex SQL queries and data reconciliation.
- Domain Expertise: Prior hands-on QA experience within Banking or Financial Services environments.
- Quality Management Tools: Demonstrated experience using ALM Octane, Micro Focus ALM, and Jira for defect tracking, test lifecycle management, and metric reporting.
- Test Deliverables Management: Proven track record of producing end-to-end QA deliverables, including automation plans, estimations, test reports, and executive dashboards.
Desired Qualifications / Nice-to-Haves:
- Strong Core Java development skills for building and extending custom test automation frameworks.
- Deep command over SQL for complex database joins, stored procedures, and backend verification.
- Experience writing Cucumber Feature Files and Step Definitions using BDD best practices.
