Responsibilities
- Prepare test plans, test cases, scenarios and results documents;
- Execute various types of technical tests (unit, functional, integration, system, regression, penetration, performance and user acceptance testing);
- Analyze results and creating reports for Management as needed;
- Track problems, defects and issues within a large project;
- Assure the quality of software delivered by the team.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
1. University in Computer Science / Electronic Engineering or equivalent is a
definite asset. Clear understanding of Business Requirements, Statement of Work,
and Test Strategies as they apply to projects. Solid understanding of the System
Development Life Cycle and other methodologies
2. 1 + years of hands-on experience in IBM Maximo testing across various
implementations and upgrades.
3. 3 + years QA experience with a strong background in test planning,
execution, and validation within the Maximo Application Suite (MAS), with
emphasis on functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
4. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including
development, sustainment, program, and vendor stakeholders in Maximo
environments.
5. Familiar with GitLab-based version control and CI/CD practices in
enterprise asset management systems.
6. Extensive QA and test experience in all facets of testing (functional,
integration, system, automated regression, performance, and user acceptance
testing) a definite asset
7. Solid experience in executing Systems Integration tests, analyzing the
results and creating reports for Management as needed.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Capabilities:
1. Demonstrated expertise in the field of quality assurance, test planning, and
test execution.
2. Strong knowledge of automated testing methodologies and hands-on VB
programming.
3. Experience in testing/QA of web application solutions in a WebSphere /
RedHat OpenShift environment preferred.
4. Must have Experience using Automated Testing tools such as OpenText UFT, Loadrunner, and testing management tools ALM and Jira.
5. Proficient VB Scripts
Should any reference fail to confirm that the services listed in Section 3.0 were performed in a satisfactory manner; the Candidate may be declared non-compliant and not considered for the remainder of the evaluation process.
