Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet all specifications.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify precise measurements and tolerances.
- Identify and report any defects or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspection data, weights, and test results.
- Monitor the production line to ensure standard procedures are followed correctly.
- Find ways to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase product quality.
- Help calibrate and maintain testing equipment to keep it accurate.
- Work with the manufacturing and logistics teams to solve quality problems quickly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing quality assurance
- Reliable transportation to the work site in Vaughan, ON
- Able to perform physicals tasks and stand for long periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent
