We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to train for our Afternoon Auditor position. This is a critical role that ensures our production floor runs smoothly, safely, and in total compliance with our quality standards.

Training Schedule: Candidates will undergo initial training on the Day Shift for approximately 2 weeks (duration may vary based on individual learning pace).
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all operators complete quality checks according to job books and Work Instruction Notes (WINs). You will be responsible for quality decisions on parts, communicating directly with the VP and Quality Control.
- Floor Leadership: Maintain constant monitoring of floor operations, ensuring workstations are organized and structured. You will also assist in scheduling operators and assemblers for production.
- Audit & Compliance: Complete regularly scheduled Layered Process Audits (LPA) and enforce "HOT LIST" requirements for recent quality issues.
- Inventory & Documentation: Set up weigh scales with part IDs, create work orders/labels, and manage the quarantine of suspect products following non-conformance procedures.
- Support & Training: Provide continuous training and follow-up for operators and assemblers. This includes organizing off-line sorts and providing assembly or break relief when necessary.
- Safety & Confidentiality: Work in a safe manner, reporting any unsafe conditions immediately, and maintain strict confidentiality regarding company discussions and decisions.
Qualifications
- Communication: Good working knowledge of English (both verbal and written).
- Technical Skills: Basic mathematical and computer skills.
- Mechanical Aptitude: The ability to learn and operate all machines related to the job.
- Safety Mindset: A proven track record of working safely and following all conduct rules.
Work Environment
This position requires a high level of alertness and the ability to correspond effectively between the Quality and Shipping departments. We are looking for a team player who is ready to step in where needed and respond to any reasonable request made by management to keep our facility at peak performance.
