Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Utilize precision measurement instruments such as verniers, micrometers, and height gauges to check dimensions.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand product specifications.
Operate and load machinery as required, including presses, threading stations, and drilling stations.
Identify, document, and manage non-conforming products and troubleshoot quality issues.
Collaborate with the production team to improve processes and boost overall efficiency and productivity.
Maintain all quality control equipment and ensure the accuracy and calibration of gauges.
Keep detailed records of inspection results and report any deviations to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety protocols.
Perform other general labour duties as assigned to support the Manufacturing & Logistics team.
Qualifications
Previous experience carrying out quality control duties in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Demonstrated proficiency in using various measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately and efficiently.
Capable of learning new tasks quickly and executing them independently.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
